The MKP-S pump model provides CP's sealless magnetic drive technology with self-priming construction. Its benefits include:
  • Revolutionary reverse drive principle
  • Compact design, easy and efficient heating capability
  • Modular system consisting of few components
  • Hydraulically balanced impeller to minimize bearing loads
  • Internal and external lubrication and flush options
  • High operational reliability due to integrated priming tank in the volute casing
  • Self-priming with suction lift up to 8.5 m
  • available in various grades of stainless steel, nickel-based alloys, and titanium
Sealless Magnetic Drive
The MKP-S utilizes a synchronous magnetic coupling to transmit drive torque. The sealless design eliminates leakage problems typically associated with shaft seals. The fluid inside the pump is hermetically sealed off by a containment shell made of metal. Precisely defined bearing lubrication and flush options and a choice of bearing materials are offered for handling liquids containing solids.

Bearing Assembly
With its compact design, the impeller of the MKP-S model creates a gyroscopic effect, ensuring stable rotation about its principal axis of inertia. The pump interior consists of a small number of components, with a single radial bearing providing support and absorbing hydraulic forces. A choice of different bearing materials is available to suit the application.
